We stayed for a week in a queen suite, which had a small living room with microwave and frig @ $70 a night. Breakfast is only adequate, all plastic wrapped and I had to go to the desk to ask for coffee refills or something else that was out 3 out of 6 days. Some rooms back up to railroad tracks, which did not bother us since there was little traffic,but be informed.

The Mansion View is exactly as I put in the headline: clean and comfortable, and if you're in downtown Springfield you should consider it. I've been staying at it for many years, and it has kept a consistent, good level of comfort. On my last trip, though, I was sorry to find out that the night man had left. I don't remember his name, but he sure helped save the day when I needed it.
