43 year old man with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

It's a poor location but has excellent hotel and spa services. The featured restaurant was disappointing. There were problems with the television connection and reception in the room. The staff attempted to fix it promptly but it never improved that much.

This hotel made me feel hip: They are a very well respected hotel and because their restaurant is supposedly tops.

I am very likely to return to the Mandarin Oriental Washington DC.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was conveniently located within walking distance of the mall and metro station. The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. I look forward to staying there again.

This hotel made me feel welcome: From the valet parking attendant right up to the front desk clerk everyone was friendly and cordial. Whenever possible they used your name and seemed concerned with making our stay enjoyable

I am very likely to return to the Mandarin Oriental Washington DC.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The location is very good, within walking distance to the Jefferson Memorial, Roosevelt Park Memorial, and the Holocaust Museum. The hotel is very Zen-like with a calming feeling. The spa is one of the best.

This hotel made me feel content: They were very attentive and anticipated your needs.

I am very likely to return to the Mandarin Oriental Washington DC.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It's an absolutely fantastic hotel, and has a fabulous spa and spa services, and the very best staff I ever have had at a hotel. We are going back in a month for a weekend, it was so great.

This hotel made me feel elegant: It's a classy hotel with all possible amenities, wonderful décor, well-spoken staff, and it is easy to get anything you want or need.

I am very likely to return to the Mandarin Oriental Washington DC.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

30 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for business

This hotel was unbelievably beautiful and luxuriant. There was a problem with the bath tub. The staff is very knowledgeable about the area and the different restaurants and sights. They even brought up a brass crib for my infant. If you visit, make sure that you know the general cross streets. Unfortunately a few of the taxi drivers were not sure how to get us back to the hotel because it is so new.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: I felt like royalty. Everything that I could possibly desire was at my finger tips. They even brought special bottled water to my room every night gratis.

I am not likely to return to the Mandarin Oriental Washington DC.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It is a beautiful property with an excellent staff. To take a taxi to the property worth the ten dollars compared to wandering around trying to find it. The hotel is beautifully appointed and I felt important.

I am very likely to return to the Mandarin Oriental Washington DC.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Hotel Review by a traveler from Hartwell, GA - Posted Dec 30, 05
62 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

This new, elegant hotel near the mall is comfortable, friendly, and very professionally-run. The staff is highly trained and personable. The room was attractive and comfortable, and guests' needs were clearly considered in planning the facilities. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to the most popular sites. It's an easy walk to the tidal basin for fresh seafood.

I am very likely to return to the Mandarin Oriental Washington DC.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
