Unlike any other hotel in the area, this 60-acre resort is designed to resemble a self-contained village that dates to the 14th century. Offering some of the world?s most spacious and exclusive accommodation, the 123 villas, colonial suites and signature residences have been sympathetically crafted in keeping with traditional Lanna architectural styles. The villas feature two floors with ample living space on the ground floor and resting space upstairs. Common features include a whirlpool tub, separate shower stall, outdoor deck or terrace, some of which incorporate private plunge pools or swimming pools. The colonial suites are in a beautiful colonial style two-storey building. Each suite features a bedroom and separate adjoining living room, as well as a large private veranda. The five-metre high ceiling enhances the guest?s sense of open space and palatial living. Other facilities include the 3,100 sq.m. Dheva Spa; an amphitheatre for cultural events, two large swimming pools; a cooking school; a health club; world class library and a traditional shopping village with 19th century-style shop houses.
Official Hotel Information
Unlike any other resort in the area, all of our accommodations consist of either individual traditional Thai villas with separate living, dining, sleeping areas, outdoor shower, indoor bath, large outdoor living spaces and many with private swimming pool or plunge pools overlooking rice paddy fields. All villas are unique in that the design and detail of each its building was painstakingly researched from ancient Lanna Buildings and hand-crafted by local artisans or true suites in the colonial style, each with bedroom and separate but adjoining living rooms and large private verandahs. The Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi boasts accommodations on a grand scale from 80 to 600 square meters. The 5 meters high ceiling of the colonial suites enhance the sense of our guests in term of open space and palatial living.
