It's a beautiful facility, located very close to the gaslight district and the San Diego Trolley, and right on the water.

It was fine for a sterile hotel chain.

I liked the great suite and the nice location.

When we arrived, I had asked for a room as high up as possible, and the clerk upgraded us to a suite. It was beautiful and spacious. The location of the hotel was perfect for the things that we wanted to do in San Diego. This is a hotel that I would definitely recommend. It was very comfortable.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The room was a suite, so that when my son wanted to watch TV while I either read or slept, he could do it in the living room without disturbing me. The beds were very comfortable. The view outside our terrace was right next to the harbor. It was very relaxing.

The location was nice, but the deluxe suites were not. There was bad lighting in the bathroom, the rooms were smelly and not worth what we paid. My advice for other tourists: do not pay full price.

The staff was great. However, someone did not have a reservation for me the night I checked in. San Diego was overbooked everywhere and there were no rooms. I had to bunk in with a business associate for one night. I'm not sure who was to blame for the mix-up but glad I had a room when my spouse arrived.
