Outstanding staff, and an awesome room! Excellent view. Central location. This is a great hotel! I guess you get what you pay for, because we paid quite a bit here.

The restaurants in the hotel are worthwhile. The view from the Top of the Harbor bar is a must-see, but get drinks only, their appetizers are poor. The pool area is great as well.

Avoid renting a car if you stay here, it costs $20/night to park. You can walk to the San Diego Convention center, Petco Park, Seaport Village, and the Gas Lamp Quarter.

The rooms have no microwave or fridge, so no money-savings by reheating leftovers.

The Manchester Grand Hyatt hotel was within walking distance of the San Diego Convention Center where the Comic Con convention was being held which was very convenient. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well worth the price. I really appreciated that they had self parking because valet parking can be so inconvenient. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers because it is centrally located to many sights, restaurants, shopping and transportation in the form of the trolley.

I am very likely to return to the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I was very upset due to the service of the hotel. I was on a trip in San Diego for a national conference for educators of the past weekend. When we got there, none of our rooms were ready, and I was not able to get a room until 5 hours after arriving.

I would recommend this hotel for a traveler who has some disposable income. It's $20 for overnight parking. They have beautiful views of the ocean. There's a rooftop pool and a hot tub. You can rent a cabana for a nominal fee. This hotel is great for watching fireworks.

Plan on spending $200-$400 a night.

I am very likely to return to the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

They have a very friendly staff and excellent service.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: They have nice furnishings and a nice set up at the bar and surrounding area. They have quick service.

I am very likely to return to the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I stay at this hotel because I have attended a conference that has been held there the last few years. This year, we tried to stay someplace else, but the place we wanted to stay was sold out. I am there for business. I was disappointed that there were no microwaves in the room so that I could reheat leftovers. Although I have been busy at past conferences, the hotel charges extra for everything. If the conference is at this hotel again next year, we will book early at another hotel.

I am not likely to return to the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
I would not recommend it to friends.

My wife and I were extremely disappointed at the firmness of the beds. Sleeping on the floor could be less painful as we experienced on the mattresses. They have to change those beds before I will stay there again.
