The Mami Camilla is a family run Sorrento bed and breakfast built on a cliff top and located 150 meters from the sandy beaches of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Traditionally styled guestrooms with wooden furnishings include balconies, cable television and climate control. After enjoying a complimentary breakfast, guests can join a cooking class to learn to prepare traditional Italian cuisine. Courses can be booked for groups of up to six and can take from one week to 13 weeks and cater for budding chefs with any level of experience. The staff can also help guests with tour assistance to explore local points of interest. Visitors can venture into the historic town of Sorrento which offers a wide variety of sights and entertainment from theater and cinema to markets, pastry and ice cream shops. The nearest airport is Naples 55 kilometers away. Buses run from the airport to Naples train station and the port (Piazza Municipio) and also to Sorrento. Taxis are also available from the airport. From the port, hydrofoils and ferries connect to the island of Capri.

We spent two nights at this hotel and had a ball! Mami Camilla has more of a B & B feel as it is run by one family. It doesn't offer much in the area of ammenities, but it more than makes up for it with charm! They run a cooking school...
