A guest at Tom Seale's Maison Dubois is guaranteed the perfect balance of feeling both an honored guest while being welcome home. I suspect it is not easy to be a bed and breakfast owner in New Orleans, and requires the ability to balance late...

38 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I recently stayed at Maison DuBois Bed and Breakfast during my visit to New Orleans for Jazz Fest and absolutely loved my overall experience. I was not sure what to expect as I normally stay in hotels but wanted to try something different. When I arrived I was immediately impressed. The house is beautiful, filled with antiques and tastefully decorated. My room had a balcony overlooking a luxury salt water pool/hot tub with a backdrop of palm trees. The management helped me organize places to eat and entertainment beyond the jazz fest which was wonderful during a busy festival like that. And the location could not be beat. They are in a wonderful area surrounded by restaurants, clubs, museums etc. Its true what they said steps from the french quarter and 1 block from Bourbon St. You cant get any better than that! I am booking another trip to return now and would recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.
