A great spot for sipping down a few martinis and chilling in their red, loungy, space. The bartenders are charming, personable and friendly. Parking not a hassle.
32 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
If you don't want to deal with the "LA attitude", then you should stay here. This is a place that you can be close to the "action" of Los Angeles if you choose to, or you can be in solitude if that's your thing. It's a small hotel, not even 50 rooms, there won't be many people to turn it into party central. The decor is tasteful, not too sleek, but sleek enough (Asian lite, I would say). The continental breakfast is not free, but it is good and original (and exactly what you would expect from a Beverly Hills hotel). Or, you can opt for Starbucks on the corner. There is no pool here, but you can go to their sister hotel -the Avalon, about a mile away- and use their facilities. A bit of a nuisance if you ask me, but then again, you get to check out another great hotel. All in all, a very good place to stay.
pros: STAFF, locale, not pretentiousThis is a special little hotel, one that I could see some of my work colleagues not "getting." It's unusual looking, and the rooms are not huge or conducive to big-time-business-travel, but damned if it's not the ...
35 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
The hotel is in a great location in Beverly Hills, but this is a budget hotel. The hallways are dark and the decor is decidely Bird Cage inspired. The rooms are small but well appointed and the bathroom only has a very small shower (don't drop the soap!). The service was fair but some of the other clientele were shady.
pros: good drinks, great atmorshpere, great drinksBar Noir is such a cute place. A great after work crowd during the week. and a great date place for a Sat. night. The bartenders are so cool and sexy. The will take care of you. Call during the...
