This is one of the best hotels in Tampa, FL. The employees are very accommodating, friendly, and helpful to all guests. The rooms are very spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean. They have kitchens in some of the rooms which is very nice if you are traveling on a budget. The pool is beautiful and very relaxing. The exercise room is very nice and offers very nice equipment. They have a very nice restaurant and bar which offers delicious food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to the leisure traveler because it is a very relaxing hotel that caters very nicely to people on vacation.

With many two bedroom townhomes spread over a few acres, Mainsail is a nice retreat from the regular hotel-going you may be used to. Boasting kitchens, dining rooms, and quiet bedrooms, Mainsail is a perfect alternative for families or large groups on the go.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever visited. It was pretty expensive though ($200/night). The service was good thought the Internet is not free and neither is the phone.

Tip: If you want free internet, go to the Tampa Convention center which is just in front of this hotel. The wireless internet there is free.

They have terrible customer service, the maids left the doors and windows unlocked, and they used my girl's hairbrush, I found their hairs on it! The manager couldn't care less, promised to comp us one night, then reneged! The DVD player did not work, there was no hair dryer, even though there was supposed to be one, the front desk staff was young, naive, and unable to assist. It was a very noisy place, but there are lots of other places a lot nicer to stay, for less money. Don't make the mistake we did.
