38 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
This hotel is perfectly located close to Beale Street and the trolley bus. It boasts a great restaurant (Grill 38), friendly staff, a fantastic rooftop bar with sweeping views of the Mississippi and the city, and comfortable rooms. Well worth your money.

After spending $350 a night for a room that was not worth $50.00 we never had housekeeping service, but the worst happened when they broke into our room and stole cash from my wallet. When traveling to Memphis stay way from this lousy, nasty hotel! They have bad management and bad service.
The room was nice, the bed was the best I have ever slept in. The service was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was $20.00 per night.
It cost as much as the Peabody with not as much to offer but Hotel was beautiful...

Okay
The room was very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. However, parking is nearly non-existent unless you opt for the $20+ valet. The "free" continental breakfast turned out to cost an additional $15 each with no help from the desk...
