We stayed here in July 2009 after reading on the hotel website about room refurbs,etc. Our room was not refurbed and in fact had a hole in the wall, carpet with hard, crunchy spots, cracked walls. Added to this was the shower gel on the bathroom tiles from the previous guest. There must be better places to stay with a better offer in the centre of such a lovely city.
