77 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We had stayed at the Maccalum house before, so we thought this trip would be good too. However, although we booked for a private hot tub room, we couldn't use the hot tub as it was so dirty, full of soap scum and made us slimy. I reported it right away and they said they would take care of the problem the next day. Well, the next day I tried again but it was still dirty, not as bad but unusable. My wife would not use it again and this kind of but a damper on the whole trip. At the price, $299.00 a night, the least we would expect was a clean tub. Although we don't watch much TV on trips, though they said they had a flat screen TV, it was just an old cathode ray TV. There was no reception either, only a lot of snow.
Needless to say, this is the last time we will stay here
