Stayed four nights and enjoyed every one of them. MGM service was excellent. Breakfast Buffet was more than adequate, we did not to have anything more until evening dinner time. Slots paid out remarkably frequently! Service couldn't be faulted. All staff in all areas very polite and helpful.

Had a wonderful time at the MGM Grand! I got the room at a surpurb discount. I would never pay full price for this hotel. It's a true 5 star, but an "older model 5 star". Not as swank as one of the newer hotels/casinos on the strip. One of the handles on the sink was leaking just a bit -enough to discolor the marble sink a greenish nasty tint -I know housekeeping seen this. I've been home for 3 days and I bet it's still leaking. LOL! There was a little mold around the exterior of the shower. Other than that, the room was great. GReat for one hundred a night, but certainly no three!
The NEW WEST WING ROOMS were some of the most aesthetically pleasing modern deco hotels rooms i've ever seen: small, quaint, cute and beautiful. flat screen in bathroom mirror -a PLUS! THE LOCATION was great too!

Had room in West Wing-hallways and room were too dim. Must have been that way to disguise the soiled carpets in room and hallways. Hated the coloring of room-dismal grey. Long walk to get too room. Bed was very comfortable
I thought there could not be a hotel worse the then the Luxor on the strip, but i was wrong. I stayed two nights at the MGM Grand. There was nothing grand about it. I was on the 25th floor with a strip view. The room was noisy, in that i could hear car traffic, motor cycles and anything else that came along the strip or the side street. The walls in the rooms were thin, in that I could hear everything happening in the rooms next to me at all hours. The service was non-existent. They hotel policy was design to treat guest as disney tourist. At the buffet restaurant, I had to wait for a waiter to bring butter for bread and milk for cerial because management would not allow for staff to put it out for ustomer convenince. The quality of food was marginal and the breakfast buffet was sparse. I requested upon checking that my bags to be delivered to my room. They refused. I requested a bellmen to assist me with the bags to take to my room...they had no one available. Now I know why all of my friends never stay there. When I complained to management..they seamed constipated and told me about hotel policy....I have stayed at most 3 to 5 star hotels on the strip. This one ranked at the bottom in all categorizes with nothing I can say positive about the hotel. Ti add insult to injury, one gets the impression they do not care. They do not provide customer survey or complaints forms for customers.

This hotel is garbage. They try to fit 10lbs into a 2lb bag !!!! I would never recommend this hotel not even to a dog. If you want lousy customer service, no help from the front desk, no comps unless you are blowing hundreds of thousands of dollars then this scummy hotel is for you.

My husband and I just returned from our very first trip to Las Vegas. We stayed for 4 nights at MGM Grand and really enjoyed it. I was a little skeptical about travelling there during spring break since we are in our 40's and 30's (not 20's), and were not going to party 'til dawn. The hotel is enormous and caters to all (partiers, families, couples, etc.). Overall we had a good experience with MGM Grand. Checked-in at the airport which was quick and easy (no wait at all). Checked out at the hotel main lobby desk and waited about 2 minutes. Also quick and easy. Didn't like that we had to deal with smokers in the casino, but it is a casino after all so we dealt with smelling like smoke. Also we would have liked a coffee maker in the room, but then Starbucks would lose out on some bucks, wouldn't they? Ate at the hotel buffet one day for an All-inclusive $29.99 per person. This was not advertised anywhere near the actual entrance to the buffet, but we saw it somewhere else in the hotel (don't remember where). This was a good deal if you are looking to eat inexpensively. We also splurged one evening and ate at Pearl, one of the hotel's restaurants. The bill came to just over $100.00 for one appetizer, two cocktails, and two dinners. Expensive, but out of this world delicious!! Would do it all over again.
