The only thing I did not like was that we were staying in the same area as very loud cheer leaders who were very rude. I would check to see if there are any large groups staying at the same time as me next time. I was very impressed with the size of the hotel as well as the great night life it offered.
This hotel made me feel entertained: There were plenty of shops, gambling areas and bars to keep us busy.

The location was great. The hotel was too large and being a senior citizen the walk was a long one from the room to the casino.

It fit in with other hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. It was my first visit there but I was not as impressed as I thought I would be. There were a lot of renovations going on but I was surprised to find a lot of areas blocked off. It was unattractive.

The hotel has a great location. It is a good starting point with easy freeway access to other points of interest. It has large rooms and casino. It also has a great selection of restaurants.

I arrived before check-in time only to find that my reservations were not honored, and I was downgraded to a lower class of room. The suite I reserved was pre-paid on my credit card. Their management was very rude and basically told me to take it or leave it. I was told they have a policy of over-booking to ensure maximum occupancy and was also told "a reservation only means you will get some kind of a room". They stated they can even place you in another hotel or even a motel if they want to do so. The MGM lacks customer service. Their rooms are old and outdated, Motel 6 has the same quality of rooms. With so many other options on the strip the MGM really has nothing to offer and is way overpriced for what you get. I will never set foot in this casino again after the treatment I got. Be warned: if you plan to go on a busy weekend, your "reservations" will probably not be honored.

It was my first time staying there. The room was recently renovated. It was clean, comfortable and stylish. Housekeeping was superb. It was very quiet. There was no noise from the hallway or the other rooms. I got efficient check in and check out. The show in the hotel was outstanding and convenient. They had free parking. I felt very safe everywhere on the property. One downside was the charge for internet access.
This hotel made me feel practical: It was good value for the money. There was no pressure to upgrade to a better room even though one was offered. We were treated as though we were staying in best room in the hotel and we were big spenders.

We loved everything about the MGM Grand hotel, the staff was outstanding and our room was glorious. The hotel was perfectly located. Do not even try to think you can catch the free shuttle, you wait forever and then it only comes on one side of the street. Taxis are very reasonable and the drivers always know the best place to eat and the best shows to see.
This hotel made me feel practical: I felt that I was being treated in an extravagant manner, but I still felt the stay and the price were practical.

We were offered a meal voucher to the restaurants, only to find that all except for the Studio Cafe and the Buffet were closed during our stay. They offered us four meal vouchers for the buffet, however every time we went to use them they told us they had not been placed on our account, so they had to call the front desk and it took twenty minutes to gain entrance to the buffet. During a show, the staff did nothing regarding an individual that was very drunk and ruined the show for us. I will never stay at this hotel again. As a customer service professional myself, the level of incompetence presented on a daily basis during our stay was outstanding.

The room I stayed in was adequate. When I met with clients who were staying in Sky Loft room I was extremely impressed with how much better suited that was for conducting business. I would much rather have stayed in a Sky Loft room.
