I LOVED your hotel and all of the staff were so helpful and kind.
The only negative (which wasn't your fault) was that we were awakened at midnight by very loud and obnoxious neighbors who proceeded to talk and laugh the rest of the night. We had an early flight so we weren't able to go back to sleep.
The hotel is awesomely beautiful and we plan to stay there again!!

We got married on 09/09/09 and what a beatiful room to spend that night. Everything was just above perfect.I loved the tub/shower, bed and the furniture. Only thing I missed was a coffee pot in the room that would have been a plus. The check in/out was very pleasant.

Was looking forward to the stay since my last visit to Luxor 14years ago... but, what a disappointment to see the interior of the room being really really worn out! I then realized why the checked in staff had asked if I'd wanted to upgrade to the Tower block instead of the pyramid!
Walking to the room along the corridor could be dicy as you may trip over the deeply rippled carpet.
Toiletries are minimal and the room was dimmly lit.
'Less you are on a budget and prefered to be at the South end of the Strip, you might want to try Circus Cirus or The Stratosphere instead.

I booked for 1 night (Saturday), mostly out of curiosity for the architecture and location to the airport. Except for a 2 night stay at the Palazzo earlier in the week, it was my first Vegas trip.
Here's a tip: we accidentally arrived at the North Entrance (Luxury Towers), were there is a seperate check in. No lines, fast service. The line for the Pyramid must have had 300 people in it and they looked miserable.
Pyramid rooms looked worn. Housekeeping was lax (no drinking glasses, barely enough soap or towels for one person, let alone four). It took quite some time to get housekeeping to arrive with extra supplies. Getting people on the phone took time. The dinner reservation line kept ringiong at the show reservation office.
It seemed to me that the Hotel decided to put its best customers in the Towers and just handed the Pyramid over to a frat house. Lots of college students, noise, etc. Slot machines were covered in uncleaned ashtrys, drink bottles. It was as if the hotel was unprepared for a busy Saturday night.

Stayed for one night. First room had horrible odor, 2nd room was trashed (not cleaned even though in-house computer said it was clean) 3rd room in good order. A lot of walking, with luggage, just to settle in for the night. They did upgrade to a better room free of charge in the end, but I felt they were obligated to complinsate for the hour of my life I'll never get back (about a 20 dollar upgrade). Oh, the final room (non-smoking) had numerous cigarette burns in the compforter)... It smelled clean, but still, I raised my eye brow a bit when I saw it... It was a better experience than I had at the Hooters Hotel and Casino..., but not by much....

Luxor is really a bargain compared to other 'strip' resorts. It is on the south end of the strip but has a monorail access to Mandalay and Excalibur, and the Deuce bus (public transit) runs up and down the strip constantly to connect to other resorts and points of interest. Check-in can be a little slow if you hit the afternoon rush.
I am very likely
to return to the Luxor Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This room was worn out. The furniture was scratched and missing paint, but NO WATER (that you are paying for!) or even glasses to drink the free stuff in a SUITE!
