* Welcome to Luxor - world of enchantment* In ancient Egypt, a magnificent city sat beside the river Nile. Home to the pharaohs, the city of Luxor was one of the wonders of the ancient world. Today that same magnificence lives on at the new Luxor Las Vegas. Where your balcony is inside and so are the keys to sights unseen and pleasures yet untouched. Where your walls are slanted and elevators move at a 39 degree angle. Adventure is inside.

I showed up to Luxor and upon checking in found out there was a $12.95 RESORT FEE PER DAY!! Instead of paying $39 per night I now was paying $52. I could have stayed at a much nicer place if I wanted to spend more per night. The FEE enabled me to have 2 VERY SMALL BOTTLES OF WATER and USE of the hotel weight room and pool (SHOULD BE INCLUDED!!!) Then they charged me $9.99 per day for INTERNET AS WELL!!! STAY AWAY MUCH BETTER VALUE ON THE STRIP RIGHT NOW

First time staying,We extended another night which they accommodate our same rate which was great. The beds are old, we called housekeeping to bring up 2 pillow and two bath towels but it never came. I didn't want to bother them seems like they were too busy. But overall it was great. Needs to be more friendlier

It's a nice hotel, we stayed in a player's suite. Check-in was a little intense until I found out that if you are staying in one of the two towers instead of the pyramid you can go to the lower lobby. They also have a resort fee of 10.95 a night that isn't included in the price. Overall a good experience!
For the casino visitors it might look nice, but the moment you enter the check-in line, yes it tends to ranges from 20-60 minutes. Then you see your banged up hotel room door, that doesn't close right, You see how dumpy this place is. The curtain are stained from the ceiling leaking, the bed sheets and blankets look like they were taken from some torn down hotel, the elevators are slow, and finally our shower head didn't work!!! This is not a 4 star hotel, I would say 1 star! AVOID at all costs!!

Very stuffy and dingy heavy smoke smell I am extremely sensitive to smoke due to allergies. Air was not as bad at lower casino level but seemed to deteriorate as you went up in the pyramid Did not rest well even though I used inhalers. Late arrival fatigue a factor but figuring out the directions to our room and the inclinators were confusing,it seemed to take forever to walk around and find how to get up to the upper levels. When we arrived at our room it was still being cleaned and I do not believe the bathroom had been cleaned at all by the way it looked when we got up in the morning. Service people were very nice and attentive and likely would have assisted if asked but it would have taken more time and effort than I had in me that night.
I am not likely
to return to the Luxor Hotel and Casino.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I woke up the first morning to find blood stains on the sheets. I checked myself all over and was not bleeding. I don't know who's blood it was and I was freaked out that I had slept in it. The cups hadn't been cleaned and still had lipstick on them.
The hotel offered to clean my pajama's for me, but then didn't return them in time to sleep in them, so they provided a robe to sleep in.
The service was extremely poor and it was absolutely beyond disgusting that they did not clean their sheets.
DO NOT STAY THERE!

My Husband and I stayed at the Luxor on our first time to Vegas Memorial Day weekend. The hotel itself is overall nice - new and the Egyptian themed art is amazing. We stayed in the Pyramid Delux - and if you have neighbors, with children - beware. Also, no coffee pot in the room - this is VEGAS - people need to wake up at some point and that would have been nice to have on hand. Apart from that - it's expensive, like the rest of Vegas.

I'm not sure what people who gave the Luxor a bad review were expecting. This is Las Vegas people! Honestly, I stayed in a corner room of the pyramid and it was fantastic. Lot's of room, clean, ample supplies, easy access to facilities, 24 hour room service, 24 hour convenience store close by, 2 Starbucks on the main floor and the list goes on. Were you expecting some posh resort? If so, don't book a regular hotel room in a city like Las Vegas. Book a super expensive room instead. The Luxor is an excellent location. I recommend it.

Okay
The Luxor has a different set up of a hotel. We stayed in the Pyramid Deluxe and it was alright. The elevator getting up to our room was quite fast. It was a bit scary once you get up to the floor and walk along the balcony. I couldn't get too...
