The towers were so far away. Maybe a moving sidewalk would help. Or a discount for staying there!

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The dark ambience, the quiet rooms.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Luxor Hotel and Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

I was very disappointed with the quality of soundproofing in the hotel. You could very clearly hear other patrons in their rooms and in the halls at all times.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Luxor Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This hotel made me feel excited: Although the Las Vegas Luxor was very 'kitchy', there were nevertheless enough authentic or semi-authentic 'Egyptian'-themed things that made it a fun place to be. A childhood dream semi-come true. However it was incredibly impersonal.

This hotel made me feel secure: Entry to the elevator area was monitored by an armed guard who did not allow entry unless you could show a room key.

Was the first time we stayed there, loved the pyramid room. Was a little disappointed with the side we ended up in. Was impressed with the Inclinator, was the first time I was in an elevator that went up at an angle.

I needed to print a boarding pass for my flight. They said had to pay $15. 00 to use the internet. I told them that would only be using it for about 3 minutes. He stood firm. I thought it was very rude.

Awful
member icon Hotel Review by a traveler from Abilene , TX - Posted Nov 01, 04

The Luxor offered a Motel 6 experience for Vegas pricing. The room was drab and standard, and very loud. The staff seemed unwelcoming, except for the front desk, who tried to be helpful with a late night check-in. It was just not the experience we were expecting, or used to.

The lighting was awful in the room. It was difficult to find my way around (not easy to get from the hotel potion to the casino section). The food was poor quality. The rooms weren't very clean - nor were they kept up.

I am not likely to return to the Luxor Hotel and Casino.
I would not recommend it to friends.
