Luxor is very bad. Their shower water pressure is so low and their representitives are not very nice.

I am not likely to return to the Luxor Hotel and Casino.
I would not recommend it to friends.

32 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business

I traveled to Las Vegas with my husband for a convention. Every hotel was booked and we ended up staying in four hotels over five nights. The Luxor was the nicest. We did not stay in the pyramid, but in one of the towers. Our room was very nice, everything appeared fairly new. The bathroom was exquisite! All granite with a separate deep soaking tub and glass shower. We attended the Midnight Fantasy show and found it to be very professional and entertaining. The theater was nice as was the restaurant. Everything was clean and the food was good. We got a package deal for the show tickets and buffet dinner, so the dinner only cost us about $20 each and the buffet was well worth that. For comparison we also stayed at the Golden Nugget, Excalibur and Hampton Inn in Henderson. The Luxor was definitely the nicest. Hopefully the price would be significantly cheaper when a big convention is not in town.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Luxor Hotel and Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

The key feature of this hotel is the location. It is in a pretty prime spot on the strip. Also, if you are in town for any sort of celebration or event, they overlook pretty much any manner of outlandish behavior you can come up with. The pool is also pretty nice. I would however stay away from the Sushi restaurant there...not very impressive at all.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Luxor Hotel and Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

I was disappointed by the poor condition of the furniture, water stained window treatments, and the fact that there was no bathtub in the room.

Very disappointed in the price of everything. They seemed to expect that everyone that stays there has a lot of money. Also, they don't seem to be very helpful in telling people any information about taxi's buses, etc..

I am not likely to return to the Luxor Hotel and Casino.

I really don't like theme hotels. The only reason chose the Luxor was because the reservations staff made me feel comfortable and was very helpful. My first choices was the Bellagio and the venation but the reservations staff was not helpful or friendly.

This hotel made me feel excited: I was a huge place but felt very comfortable getting around.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Luxor Hotel and Casino.

Two concerns about my Luxor experience: We had ants in our room and although the room wasn't 'infested' so to speak, they did not offer the room at a cheaper price which think would have been a nice gesture. And they did not send anyone to take care of the problem.

The staff was not helpful at all, hours of various eating places were posted nowhere - how many delis are closed during lunchtime?! - I'm really glad I asked for a non-smoking room, but I got towels that reeked of smoke. I will never stay there again.
