Hotel was very clean, comfortable, welcoming and overall very, very nice. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The bed was so comfortable and the room was quiet, even though you are close to the airport.

I loved the Hotel,It is first class. the reservations were perfect.The front desk clerk was very sweet and polite.we checked in 8-14-09 at 21:57 hours.
I hated the way the Valet parking attendant in a very nice suit,Harassed my Ministry team. He would not allow any of the three vehicles with seven ladies to park in front of the Hotel lobby to unload their luggage.He made them move by yelling at them and intimidating them while I was registering the rooms at the front desk.
Then after moving the cars 200 yards down the hill to the parking lot they had to drag their luggage up the hill to the front door. When one of them went and got luggage cart to finish bringing their luggage they were approached by an angry bell hop who wanted his cart back and scolded them for taking it.He never once offered to help them with their luggage.
Maybe if money would have been involved better service would would been provided. I am proud of my team who took the rude treatment and still showed grace to the hotel staff.In all fairness to the Marriott Hotel chain I will not hold this against the corporation but I will never subject any one in my Ministry to the rudeness they experienced at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.

pros: Service and atmosphereWhile the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and the service was very good the food was only ordinary. I ordered the bone in rib eye steak and while it was cooked perfectly it had no seasoning and was kind of tough....

This hotel is supposed to be only two blocks from the LAX airport, but I would not walk that on those roads. Instead, I took the hotel's complimentary airport shuttle service, which runs at least every 30 minutes all day and night--a great service!...

Hotel is quite nice but the experience was tampered by very slow van service from the airport and then finding the previous guests dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower head.
