The room was terrible. It was in desperate need of re-modeling. The room temperature did not stay within range. The room had bugs. The room was very dirty. It was so bad that despite pre-paying I "ate the charge" paid for another hotel in Sedona. This is coming from someone who normally stays in La Quinta's and Hampton's.

My only complaint was the resrvation lady on the phone...she was WAY rude! We booked online at last minute but when I called her she couldn't get us anything and was quite rude about about. She made me quite mad and almost made me not want to stay but I'm glad we still went. We weren't able to get a king size bed but a 2 room place with a mini kitchen was perfect for us with a toddler. We only stayed one night so we didn't interact with much staff but I don't have a major complaint. I would recommend staying there...plus the location is great. Right by the little shops and UFO store and has quite a few restauraunts around it.
I am very likely
to return to the Los Abrigados Resort & Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
when we checked in we were told we were upgraded to room with a jacuzzi - this would have been fine, but we were told we only had one bed - when we specifically asked for 2. we were told that is all they had, so we went off to our room - there were NO parking spots anywhere near our room, so we lugged our luggage to our room. as we opened the door we heard voices and found someone else already staying in our room - needless to say that was a bit uncomforable for us and scary for the people we walked in on.
we then went back to check in - told them what happened and they didn't believe us at first. FINALLY, we were given another room which went to look at and it was by the restaurant dumpster, loud, dirty and not ok!
Finally, we received a room and one with 2 beds. We did also get a dinner voucher for $40. Our room was ok - alhtough cock roaches were coming in under the front door.
We did spa services the next day - which were fabulous and the spa secured a late check out for us by an hour at no cost, BUT got home to find i was charged $50 for that. i still need to call and see if that will be reversed.
Not sure I will ever stay here again...i will go to the spa though

Our stay started out okay, that is until I woke up in the morning with ANTS crawling on me and all over my pillow, bed and nightstand ( and no, there was no food around!). I woke up several times during the night itching, but I thought it might just be the sheets, but to my surprise in the AM, it was infact ANTS. I informed the desk clerk of this upon checking out and that they should not book anyone else in 308 until they corrected this. Her reply to me was "oh, that was not very nice; Do you have your 2 keys for the room? Your balance is zero. Come and see us again." To my amazement, not even an apology was offered for this problem!! For a place that is supposed to be one of the "premier" type establishments, they totally missed the boat on customer service etiquette!! Would of liked to have given a better rating, but this totally turned my husband and I off. Not sure if I can say that we would stay with your establishment again in the future.

The grounds looked beautiful and as soon as we walked into the room there were cockroaches and beatles all over. We killed them and immediately called the front desk. The women, Lori, told us she would spray the room while we were in there. Anybody with just a little common sense would tell you THIS IS NOT SAFE. We woke up at LEAST 10 times throughout the night to noises and clicking from the aircondition in the room. When I brought this to the Manager's attention she told me that they could have bombed (pesticides again!) the room and there was nothing she could do about the noise. She offered us a gift card to the resturaunt on property which was never brought to the room. Paid high rate with a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I stayed at the resort with my boyfriend in June 2009. We checked in late and had a very hard time finding our parking space and room in the dark. The room was decently appointed but small with only a single sink. Also, the deadbolt lock didn't work

My stay was exceptional. The staff there was awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed being at the resort. I even changed my plans to return to Florida and I stayed an extra night! Food was good-- service was accomodating!

Los Abrigados resort is really beautiful and perfectly located. We have family here from out of town and took them to the resort to see Sedona. Pink Jeep tours picked us up right at the resort. It was great. Unfortunately, the front desk clerk was r

the room was just okay. the decore was hidious, with miss match furniture. there is a sliding glass door on the bathtub which made it very difficult to bathe my little one. the grounds are beautiful! I would not rate this room a four star.
