We chose the Travelodge because it was one of the cheapest in town with a pool. (I can't say much about the pool as we got busy and didn't use it) The location was very convenient right off of I-25. My first impressions were not great as the side entrance was surrounded by open trash cans and the hall smelled like smoke. When I asked for a second room key and an extra sheet for my daughter, I felt I was being a nusance. The bed was comfortable and I really liked the pillows. The shower was the downfall of the stay, as each time I used it, the water would shift from freezing to scalding without notice. The towels, however, were quite plush. The continental breakfast was limited to coffee, juice, toast, and muffins. The parking lot has lots of space and looks like it would be easy to park a trailer. Our room actually had a great view of the mountains (although this would only be half of the rooms).

So...

Good: View of Mountains, Pillows, Towels, Location, Price, plenty of parking

Poor: first impression, service, water temperature in showers

The hot tub was not clean, unfortunately.

We were a sizable wedding party and they coulnd't have been more accommodating or helpful! 11.

They were extremely accommodating to any of our requests.

We were very impressed with their caring attitude for our comfort and went out of their way for it!
