Excellent staff, nice, friendly, helpful, assisted us in every way possible, even allowed me to return for a quick shower after I checked-out, very accomodating, other hotels may be bigger and newer but could learn a lesson here.

41 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The Long House Alaskan Hotel has a nice staff. Quick airport shuttle. Freezer is awesome for fisherman. Small airplanes -- floatplanes -- at the lake "next door" are cool. Maybe a bit Econo Lodge-ish but it is clean AND a hands-down winner compared to spending $200-300 in AK in summer.
