Their entire staff went out of their way to be of service. They had clean, mid sized rooms, strong water pressure, a terrific English breakfast, a large gym, ditto for the active bar/pub next door, but I did not try the premium restaurant. It’s within walking distance to a dozen top dining spots on the river. Some small downsides: You practically need a roadmap to get to the upgraded, executive rooms, and their inconvenient broadband hook-up requires a daily ten pound charge and resign-up.
