38 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for business

I've stayed here on several occasions for business but would also use it for leisure. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are really comfortable. There's a good choice of hot and cold food for breakfast and I usually have 1 dinner in the Malaysian restaurant attached to the hotel. One plus point is that it's so close to London Bridge station.

I am very likely to return to the London Bridge Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

26 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My boyfriend and I decided, pretty last minute, to go out in London for a night so I found the London Bridge Hotel using one of the many London hotel websites out there. At £100 for the room for the night, the price wasn't too bad, especially considering it is a 4* hotel.

Upon arrival, staff were courteous and helpful, though I was a bit annoyed that we got two single beds rather than one double. When I rang reception to see whether this could be changed I was told they were fully booked. I was convinced my original booking had specified a double rather than a twin room, but not having the paperwork with me to check, I didn't want to cause a fuss and we kept the original room.

The rest of the room was perfectly formed though I must say rather small. There was a huge flatscreen TV, a kettle with coffee and tea making facilities and the ensuite bathroom was again, small but well presented. For one night's stay it was more than good enough, even if there was limited room to manoeuver.

The original plan was to grab a meal somewhere in London but we ended up arriving far later than expected, so we grabbed a bottle of wine at London Bridge station and headed to the hotel, where we ordered room service. This wasn't too over the top expensive; I had fish and chips which was much more glamorous than it sounds - pieces of battered cod with a lovely salad and nicely cooked chunky chips. My boyfriend just had a side order of chips, which was huge and again well cooked. I think all in all it came to about £25, though not entirely sure. The lady who brought in our room service was more than happy to open our bottle of wine for us, which I thought was quite good seeing as it wasn't bought at the hotel!

When we came back from the club at 5am, the concierge opened the door within five minutes. We didn't end up staying for the free complimentary breakfast though I am sure it would have been of excellent quality.

Overall, our stay was pleasant enough, seeing as we were only staying the one night. If I was staying longer I would have wanted a bigger double (rather than twin) room, but otherwise the amenities and everything were in perfect order.

travelpoet icon A great hotel and a great neighborhood

This hotel gets great reviews. On that, and the fact that my options were limited on a busy holiday weekend, I booked the hotel. I started to have my doubts when I realized it is literally across the street from London Bridge, London Bridge rail station, and London Bridge underground station.

Here is what I didn't know; they have done a great job with the rooms. They have good windows that keep out the noise. It has well decorated and equipped rooms, and bathrooms. Here is the best surprise, a great neighborhood including London's favorite market, Borough Market, Tate Modern, Globe Theatre, great restaurants, three Starbucks, some shopping and easy access to the tube.

Here is what is wrong, the single rooms are characteristically small, the refrigerator in my room was too loud, the light outside that is intended to light the name of the hotel was shining in to the room, and the internet is too expensive.

I am very likely to return to the London Bridge Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Their entire staff went out of their way to be of service. They had clean, mid sized rooms, strong water pressure, a terrific English breakfast, a large gym, ditto for the active bar/pub next door, but I did not try the premium restaurant. It's within walking distance to a dozen top dining spots on the river. Some small downsides: You practically need a roadmap to get to the upgraded, executive rooms, and their inconvenient broadband hook-up requires a daily ten pound charge and resign-up.

I am very likely to return to the London Bridge Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

39 year old man with a luxury budget, traveling for business

The London Bridge Hotel is a great little business hotel by the City and London Bridge. It's very clean, has reliable Internet access. They also had firm beds and a great gym next door. I stay there every time I'm in London and have meetings in the city.

I am very likely to return to the London Bridge Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
