The hotel and the surrounding areas are beautiful and the staff was extremely attentive. The only thing I disliked was that I found a snake in my room. However, the management handled it very well.

The hotel was comfortable and well run. We did have a rental car, which made it possible to leave the hotel for meals and shopping, which was a plus. The hotel dining room was rather expensive and it was not a good value for the money at breakfast.

I stayed there in July so I got a great off season rate. The hotel was very nice, comfortable and the rooms were large and I would recommend others to stay there. I did not use their bar and restaurant as I was in town to see my family and I spent my time with them.

I liked the hotel because of its beautiful location, the friendly staff and the nice room we got. The hotel is built into the mountain and the color of the brick blends well with the landscape. The pool area is beautiful and the hiking is literally right out the back of the resort. The staff was friendly, informative and helpful. We were able to swim, play ping pong, play croquet and enjoy the wonderful dining area. The bar area is spread out and has a great ambiance. Our room was nicely decorated and the bathroom's extra large, double person bathtub was magnificent. The television in the bathroom was wonderful, too. We had a wonderful weekend.

This hotel made me feel excited: The Loews Hotels made me feel excited because the drive up to the resort from the highway was nice. The landscape and the waterfall as we drove up made the anticipation of the weekend that much better.

Our stay was excellent. We enjoyed the time we spent at the hotel.

I was attending a business conference and was more than pleased/satisfied with the service and staff assistance. There were no problems and I have no complaints.

Overall, the experience was good. However, we forgot a small bag in the room on departure. When we were finally able to get in touch with someone in security regarding the bag, a full day and a half had passed and the bag was not in their possession. A week later the bag somehow turned up and was mailed to me. A woman's blouse, child's hat and toy wallet were missing from the bag. This was the only blot on an otherwise wonderful visit.

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is my favorite place to stay in Tucson.
