There were black hairs in the showers. The jacuzzi area was dirty. The massage room smelled of amonia. When I contacted the manager she had no interest in addressing my concerns.
68 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The floors were dirty, there was mold in some places on the carpet. This included our room as well as the common area, the halls and the lobby. The tub in the bathroom did not drain properly. It took four calls to get someone to come fix the TV. There was only one dining room that was relatively expensive and certainly not worth the money. The staff was not helpful in telling us what other restaurants might be within walking distance. Small children in diapers were allowed in the hot tub and some older children were using it as their private swimming pool. My advice to other tourists is to find someplace else.
I am not likely
to return to the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.
