The Art Deco tower, located across from the Reading Terminal and the Convention Center, was the nation's first skyscraper of modern design and construction, with gleaming polished stone and clocks by Cartier. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was large and away from the elevators (as I requested) and the bedding was fabulous! The desk/dresser furniture was a bit old but I wouldn't say that made a difference either way. I don't get these...

We booked our stay about about 2 weeks prior. "King Bed romm with Spectacular" view. We on the 22nd floor, and our room was IN the elevator hall. Turned out not to be much of a noise problem after all, but the room was teeny!! Not even a closet, ...
