Our stay at Loews was exceptional. The hotel was immaculately clean and our room (luxury king) was spacious and the furnishings looked new. Employees were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs (a 7 minute walk to Bourbon Street and across from Harrahs). The valet parking in the hotel garage was somewhat expensive ($29 a night), but a safer option that trying to park on the street. Room service menu and mini-bar was also overpriced ($6 for a bottle of water and $5 for a bowl of cereal?!) so we didn't use it much. Overall a great stay and we plan on staying again on our next visit!

I stayed here on business from July 23 thru Aug. 3. I found the location was excellent. Right across the street from the Harrah's Casino and a pleasant walk to Burbon Street. The staff was friendly and professional. We paid roughly $120 a night, and in a major market this is nothing. The room was plush and the bed was very comfortable.

The hotel location was very good. The room was exceptionally comfortable. We dined at the hotel restaurant once for breakfast and were disappointed in the selection and quality of the food. Complimentary coffee was available at the bar in the morning but only for limited, early hours. We got stuck in the elevator for about ten minutes. Nobody responded to the emergency phone and when the elevator started up again and we got out, the employees were unaware of any problem and didn't seem to care. The doormen were very attentive but the desk staff less so. All in all, it was a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our visit.

This hotel made me feel respected: The doormen greeted us warmly each and every time and appeared to know us personally. The hotel staff addressed us politely and attempted to meet all of our needs. The staff used salutations such as sir and maam.

Loews provides prompt and efficient service. All aspects of the hotel are quality and upscale. Comfort is emphasized at Loews.

They had an excellent staff. They have done a fine recovery from last years hurricanes. The food was well above average. The housekeeping and maintenance were superior.

This was my first experience with a Loews Hotel and it was a fine one. Any comments I might have about the way it was are likely not applicable since Katrina. We left Sunday morning before Katrina hit, and the staff was extremely helpful in getting us a taxi for the airport at 5:45 AM under difficult circumstances. They maintained a pleasant and friendly attitude at all times. It was a totally comfortable hotel and I hope all the staff are well.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: The atmosphere of the whole hotel, the decor and furnishings were high-class.

Staff was unavailable for simple things such as extra blankets and towels.

Loews New Orleans is a beautiful hotel, and the personnel did a wonderful job, making us feel welcome and spoiled. It's beautifully decorated as well.
