A new low at Loews

35 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The Loews Hotel Denver is, in general, what a traveler would expect of a four-star hotel in terms of quality of service and amenities. Two incidents during our stay left a very poor taste in our mouths - one literally. The quality of room service dining was very low. Secondly, we accidentally left a coat in the room on our departure. Calls the very next day to the Hotel yielded no results: the agents took the information, promised to call back shortly and then never did. A fax two weeks later finally got a response from the hotel to the effect that they were filing a "Lost guest property" report.
Either the housekeeping staff are thieves or the hotel's process for dealing with incidents like this is seriously flawed. Or both. Failure to return calls, filing reports two weeks after the fact - I assume the fact that our booking was through Hotwire had an impact on the degree of service and customer care we were given.

I always enjoy staying at the Loews hotel. They still know what customer service means and they have gotten to know us though we only stay with them about twice a year.

The hotel was as expected and all the related services were acceptable. It was not outstanding. I would stay there again.

It is the best luxury hotel there is. They know how to treat their guests properly. It is also only blocks from my sister's home.

Loews is a quality hotel where we stay three to four times a year. They treat us like old friends and the service is superb.

The hotel's location was odd, set back behind a commercial building through a parking lot. The room itself was nice, though the air conditioning would not go low enough for me to be comfortable sleeping at night.

Comfort, service, friendliness, acceptance of children and pets were all fantastic. They give you six pillows, three different kinds so you can choose the one to your liking. It was very relaxing. The restaurant in the hotel could use a lot more options on the menu and more help with the staff.
This hotel made me feel relaxed: The bedroom had a beautiful view, comfortable furniture, and robes to be used. There were options for pillows. It was pet-friendly!

This is a beautiful hotel, with luxurious accommodations, and a super comfy bed.
This hotel made me feel elegant: It's quite luxurious -- the lobby is Tuscan grandeur. The rooms were very well-appointed. The towels were very thick and soft -- I could have wrapped the bath sheet around me twice.

This hotel is in an excellent location for attending functions at DU. Great service was provided by the staff, including excellent restaurant recommendations. The comfortable room was well maintained and furnished at a great price.

The hotel in Denver was not as luxurious as other Loews Hotels I have visited. The rooms were kind of small and the public areas were very small and dingy.
