We've stayed at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake twice and have loved it both times. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are very nice and we really enjoyed our in room fireplace.

Good
Whitefish Lake Lodge is a very nice place to stay in the winter and in the summer months. We have stayed their for a gymnastics competition and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. the service was great and the prices in line with other lodges in the area.

Good
A first-class lodge that caters to the vacationers coming for the breathtaking scenery. The decor of the lodge fits the area. The service is very good, and the place is extremely clean. Highly, highly recommended.

While staying here for a corporate event I was shocked at the same things the other review noticed. To begin with the stupidly big pillows that ruin your neck; by 4am with our necks aching we called for smaller pillows, they called back to tell us the bad news at 5am that they couldn't find any (waking us up..after we finally got to sleep with towels in our pillowcases.) But it was hard to sleep anyway. Our room had a peak of the Lake (with a stretch) but more unattractive were the giant compressors nearby (left side looking at lodge) that buzzed and hummed to us day and night making opening the window not an option; want to sit on the deck? Not. In the morning we endured the laundry deliveries, the garbage pickup, the Pepsi delivery. The manager found us pillows the 2nd night after a few calls. The place looks really good at first glance. We decided the place was built for ski bums with money. We'll be back to Glacier Nat. Park, but unless things change a lot - not this hotel. Some of these things were thoughtless, like not being able to control the thermostat. Other members of our group who had the better views enjoyed the hotel. Hmmm. Be sure and get a good room if you plan some time here. I think it could be a nice place - but geez - you gotta care about people in this business. I didn't sense that happening. I wish them good luck and hope they improve - at least fake you care in the future, it goes a long way in spreading good will.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The housekeeping service was awful. I had to beg to get my room cleaned. My "mountain view" was a view of the parking lot. When I talked to the manager, he argued with me and said it was a good room. You cannot control the thermostat - and it was unseasonably warm in the area. I burned up the entire time! One of the elevators was out during my entire stay.
