Okay place, great facility manager

48 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

My wife and I stayed at the Lodge at Buckberry Creek for the weekend and our overall visit was favorable. We had a few problems with check-in and with the dining schedule, although the food was fabulous. Had it not been for the facility manager go-go guy and all around facilitator, smoothing over the rough spots and taking care of some awkward details, the weekend would have been a disaster. The owners of the lodge have a jewel with him and should probably get rid of the general manager who is a know it all, do nothing, jerk.
