The cabin was not what was advertised or stated to me on the phone by the owner. The stove was broken, but no one told me of this condition when I called the day before arrival, nor when I checked in. I was having family reunion, which they knew about, and I had nothing to cook on when I arrived.
There was no exterior lighting, thus I had to return in the dark. The lights in the cabin did not work and no one seemed to care. The screen door was so mangled it would not close properly, so that I could not have fresh air through the house. They advertised A/C, but it really never cooled anything more than the living area and kitchen. The bedrooms were like ovens, I had to go out and buy fans to help cool off. The beds were broken down and uncomfortable.
Nothing was as advertised and no small amount of compensation was considered. I will never return. Their web site is falsely advertised. It was very expensive for what was offered. The sheriff even showed up inquiring about the owner's whereabouts and had a summons for them. They were very unprofessional. I had more issues, but there's not enough space here to write them all down.
