We're glad we found this place. It's directly on the river with back porches with rocking chairs where you can see and hear the river rush by about 30 feet away. We caught trout and cooked them on the grills the hotel provides on it's river bank. Would recommend it for those wanting a quiet escape in the mountains, but still just minutes away from everything happening in this area.

The hotel was fine and the owner was very helpful but unfortunately the property was for sale and probably it will not be there the next time we decide to go to Cherokee. It did have a really nice porch on the back with a view of the river.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Lloyd's on the River.
I might recommend it to friends.
