Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort Resort - Page 1

I have never been treated so rude. it started @ check in, where I was told that my room was not on the immediate grounds...but that we were 3 miles away. ( from the beach also) . when stunned, b/c I had asked to be by the water. the manager sherri told me to go to another hotel. and that todd the reservationist would never tell me something wrong. also, we had to change rooms our last night, which is fine. 7ut there was no bedding on the beds. we called to just bring overf some blankets... sherri showed up with the sheets,blankets and MAJOR attitude .sherri wanted to wake our 4 children who were already asleep wrapped in blankets to see for herself. when I told her she couldn't wake the kids she then had thrown the sheets at us.I am not sure why I was being accused of lying this weekend. I could add to this list of experiences, but I don't want to overwelm you. the avian forest room were nice, but the tall pines had green carpet and wicker ritan furniture.

Great ambience, well-kept-up facility, the staff are great. Add in the beach and the lazy river, an I'm in heaven. Can't wait to get back for my next visit.

The facilities were very good for our conference. The rooms were clean. The service was very good. I liked the ease in accessing the hotel and getting back onto highway.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff was most helpful and quick in finding our reservation, letting us know the services provided by the hotel, and the room location.

The Litchfield Resort is as close to "all-inclusive" as you can get without spending upwards of $10,000 for a week’s stay. The prices are fantastic, the people are wonderful and the amenities are even better. The community has a whole host of fantastic homes, villas, and condos to choose from with an abundance of fun activities. The resort has biking, tennis, golfing, swimming, surfing, an exercise gym, and a ton of fun water parks for kids an adults alike all within a stone’s throw of your doorstep.

Best of all, Litchfield offers shuttle services where you can call in advance for a golf cart to pick you up and take you to your destination if you don't feel like walking. However, I would certainly recommend walking or biking as the scenery is gorgeous. Surrounding Litchfield are many restaurants, shops, and attractions (i.e. the botanical gardens or a day of parasailing that you will never forget as you not only get a tour of Pawley’s island from the sky, but from the knowledgeable instructors as well).

And, for you coffee junkies, Litchfield just opened a Starbucks within the community.

If you are looking for somewhere to go for a weekend, a week, or even longer, I can think of no better place to go to than the Litchfield Resort.

I am handicapped and the check-in person told us that the hotel did not have handicapped-equipped rooms. It was pouring rain when we arrived, and we accepted a room that was really unsuitable for us.
