Lion's Inn Motel is distinguished in the business, family and relocation (retirement/new home buyer) traveler's itineraries as a home-away-from-home destination. It is the only lodging in Bellingham that is located in a residential neighborhood, Columbia, considered by many to be the best and most proactive in the city. Since 1951, the motel has served guests, ever evolving into the newly renovated property with clean, quiet, comfortable and affordable accommodations that it is today. New, friendly and considerate management, Free wireless Wi-Fi, refrigerator and microwave in every room and rates that start at $49 even in the summer season, upgrade this quaint little motel (only 15 rooms) from a remnant of Americana Lodging to the "Best Value in Bellingham".

We(husband, kid, cat, and kitten)have been accommodated with sincere warmth by the managers. We are in the middle of relocating from Texas back home to the Northwest and I have had to keep my cats in the truck for the entire ordeal. Tonight we are all cozy in our sparkling clean beautiful room for the first time in a month. Bravo! This is the way guests should feel. Great decor with nice drapes, quality bathroom fixtures, nice towels... everything like you would present it in your own guestroom. Tonights prayer will be one of Thanks!
It's very clean and comfortable. The room (w/ one queen size bed) was spacious enough for 2 to do yoga. There was a small kitchenette w/ utensils. And the staff were friendly. It's a great price for all that.
The manager and family were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were VERY clean, and there was a microwave and fridge in the rooms. It was a little noisy but good value for the rates.
