I've never seen any kids writing about liki tiki hotel so i figured i'd be the first one. Me, my mom, my aunt, and my best friend stayed in the 800 building and it was ok i guess, but there were some problems. We found worms on the ground, beetles i

We went to the the Liki Tiki on 26/07/08 on a two week break five days into our holiday our safe would not open we called maintance we were in a rush to catch the shuttle bus to disney they took over half an hour to come when they came it took one minute to open the safe they told us to change our code so we did two days later $5000 was stolen out of it we phoned security they got the police out and we were blamed for taking our own money. It took five days to get the reading off the door when it was got it showed someone other than us had entered our appartment when we were out we had proof that we were not there then security started to do there job, two weeks on we have recieved no apology from anybody in the liki tiki our case has been passed to orange county police no word from them either what a joke! Anybody thinking about going to the liki tiki stay away.

I went for one week with my husband and kids. I woke up during the night to use the bathroom only to find a huge palmetto bug in there. This happened at least 4x's out of the 7 I was there SUPER DISGUSTING. One of our lovely days there we woke up and got dressed early to be at the park by 9:00am when we tried opening the "safe" only to have it read error, which puzzled us seeing as we had not had a problem the past four days we had used it. We tried again and again punching in our code and it would not open. This fustrated us seeing we had all our money in it and could not leave. We called the office to see what we were suppose to do at that point. We were given the lovely news that they would send maintenance with a machine to open the safe. That made us uneasy to find out maintenance had a machine to open the safe. We thought they would at least need our code to open it, but not at all. We asked them to please send someone quickly b/c we needed to leave. Twenty minuetes passed by and still no one showed up. We contacted the office again by this time we were fustrated they apologized and still it took them 15minutes more. The maintenace man finally showed up and placed a machine under the safe punched in a number and it opened(how convinient). My husband pulled the money out and started counting it and immidiately realized $260 was missing. Well you can imagine how we felt at this moment, but by this time we were already over an hour late and I refused to ruin the day for my kids. I had our entire vacation planned and had made reservations to eat at the castle that day. There was no time to cancel or call the police and wait for them to show up. So I decided instead to contact the front desk on my way to the park. They transfered me to security. Security said they would send someone the next day so we could file a report and they had a way of knowing if one of their staff members came into our room. This made us feel a little better. The next day they send me a security man only to tell us we had to file a report and they would investigate, but this does not get done while you are there. I asked him if this has ever occured and he said yes a few times. So I feel that it is Liki tiki's responsibility to make their guests aware of this before they decide to leave any of their valubales in this "safe". I feel like they reuined our vacation. We felt violated that someone went into our room without us being there and on top of that stole from us. We have yet to hear from anyone at the liki tiki with any type of information as to if an investigation has taken place and what their findings were. Not even an apology letter was written to us for the inconvinience we went through, or better yet because they cant give you back the money that was taken how about a free dinner on us. (Nothing) They could care less is how we feel. Oh and their water park was always extremely packed you could never enjoy it we went once and ended up staying only 30minutes. Their other pools are backyard sizes how enjoyable is that. It is not worth the money.

IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT STAYING IN THIS HELL HOLE, PLEASE THINK AGAIN. MY FAMILY AND I STAYED AT THE LIKI TIKI FOR A WEEK AND IT WAS THE WORST "HOTEL" I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. THEY SAY IT IS A RESORT, BUY THE HOWARD JOHNSON DOWN THE STREET IS BETTER THAN THE LIKI TIKI. THE KEYS NEVER WORK!!!!!!!! WHEN WE FINALLY GOT INTO OUR ROOM, THERE WAS FRESH BLOOD ON THE BATHROOM DOOR, EWWWW! WE CALLED HOUSEKEEPING AND LEFT TO GO GET SOMETHING TO EAT. WHEN WE RETURNED THE BLOOD ON THE DOOR HAD BEEN SMEARED, THAT PISSED ME OFF EXTREMELY AND I WAS READY TO GO STAY ELSEWHERE, BUT IT WAS LATE AND MY HUSBAND TALKED ME INTO STAYING. WHEN WE PULLED THE COVER BACK TO GET INTO THE BED, THERE WAS A HUGE FRESH BLOOD STAIN IN THE BED. THE SWITCHED OUR ROOM, WHEN WE GOT INTO THE NEW ROOM, THE LAUNDRY DOOR FEEL ON ME WHEN I OPENED IT, THE COUCH WAS DIRTY, THE BATH TUB WAS FILTHY , AND OVERALL THE "HOTEL" WAS A DUMP!!!!!!! FROM A PISSED OFF MOTHER

First of all i would like to say the 2bedrrom resort we stayed in was very clean and nice. but as far as service went when we needed something such as towels ,garbage bags etc. I would call front desk and get transfered to several different operators for any service or question i had not only was this aggravating . we waited a couple of hours for them to bring our things requested. finally frusterated i went to the front desk and talked to the manager and got some things resolved like garbage bags, and the gigantic plant cut from in frontof our door that we hardly could open or close. still didn't recieve towels or x-tra pillows till next day!!!! The water park if that's what u want to call it was a joke nice for the ages of 3-9 year olds. the reg. pool was like a public pool trying to find a space to even get in.overcrowded!!!!!! oh and the bumper boats ha ha was in a little water hole that had a sign posted DON'T FEED THE ALLIGATORS! Now i come from little ohio and i know there's alligators in florida but i sure don't want to get on a bumper boat and meet one personaly let alone send my children on one!when i went to check out and get my deposit back i was shocked to find out i owed $88.00 for using the phone locally!!!! NEVER ONCE WAS TOLD I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR LOCAL CALLS OR WAS NEVER POSTED ON PHONE OR NEAR PHONE!! IF THAT WAS THE CASE I WOULD HAVE USED MY CELL PHONE. BOTTOM LINE IF U WANT CRUMMY SERVICE OR TO BE RIPPED OFF STAY @ THE LIKI TIKI RESORT.
