31 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I say nearly - but I can't think of one flaw, really.
The breakfast is good - mostly breads & cheeses, but also fruit, hard-boiled eggs, all the typical morning beverages.
The location is GREAT! It's about a 2 minute walk to Leidseplein Square which is home to many bars, a few coffee shops, several restaurants, active nightlife within the Square and the Bus system. Also about 3-5 minutes from Van Gogh Museum. Really, everything in Amsterdam is a walk away. Red Light District is roughly 12-15 minute walk from this hotel.
Ladies, DO NOT try to plug in your flat iron - even with a converter!! BUT, your phone & iPod will charge just fine.
There is a small bar in the hotel. Loads of info on what to do, including tickets to Museums, etc.
If this is your first time to Europe - the toilets are different, the beds are twin, rooms are petite - new yorkish in their petiteness.
