When you visit Williamsburg, you'll learn of how they lived in the 17th and 18th centuries. Here at The Legacy you will truly step back in time. Experience 18th Century Tavern life. The fireplaces and flickering of candlelight throughout the Inn brings to life those days we long to remember. Three large suites and one bed chamber, all with queen beds and private baths. Elegance...quaint romance...we could go on and on but most of all hospitality and warmth are all waiting for you here at The Legacy.Owner Occupied

My husband and I loved this little secret place. It all was just wonderful. Everything was super clean, and "sweet" without offending men. Just perfect for our 25th wedding anniversary.
Would LOVE to go back again and am scheming with girlfriends to do just that!

Friends of ours that had received a gift certificate and let it expire, and they gave it to us. By chance, I called The Legacy to see if they would accept it. Not only would they accept it, but our stay was wonderful. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

Excellent
Spent four nights recently in the Legacy of Williamsburg and had an exceptional time. Easy, friendly nd warm conversations with Art and Joan (two very unpretentious folks) and top notch service that 'just happened', just the way you wish it always...

We were given a gift certificate for two nights that we were unable to use within the one year time period. The proprietors were unwilling to accommodate us, even for one night in the middle of the week during the off season. They avoided our phone calls, did not return phone calls, hung up on my wife, and yelled at my wife. This is the most unprofessional "business" I have ever encountered. This discourteous treatment cannot be justified.
