We took our 2 daughters for dinner, swimming and a movie by the pool. Waitress took forever to acknowledge us. Finally, took our order. Slapped my salad dressing down in front of me. Dropped my salad down on table. My daughter reached to take a crouton from my salad and the waitress yelled "STOP!" The waitress had brought the wrong salad. I was shocked that she would yell at my child!! She snatched the salad away and then dropped a wilted salad in front of me. I looked at my daughter who was clearly upset and my husband asked if she wanted him to do something about the very rude waitress? The waitress walked by and overheard him and suddenly her whole demeanor changed. She became much nicer when she realized we weren't going to accept such behavior. The food was not very good. My husband got the steak salad and it only had 4 very small pieces of steak on it and the lettuce was warm and wilted. We went outside after dinner so kids could swim and watch movie by the pool. An 11 year old boy fell into the pool and hurt himself. 911 was called and the boy was taken to hospital. Staff at Bullfrogs were less than sympathetic. When asked what happened to boy, bartender very rudely blamed boy for his accident stating that he was 'running and fell into pool and hit his head". It is a child that was hurt!!! Show some compassion! We never got waited on outside. Waitress just kept walking past us and ignored us. My husband finally went inside to bar and ordered from the rudest bartender ever. Overall NOT a good experience. We probably will go back for movie by the pool, but we will NOT eat there again. Even the hostess was not very friendly. I know Virgil Williams is spending a tremendous amount of money on creating a "pretty" resort, he needs to spend some money on obtaining employees that enjoy their jobs and helping people enjoy their visit to Legacy Lodge. If all the employees seem to hate their jobs, maybe the fault lies with the employer. The water park experience was not much better this past summer either. All except one entrance closed. 2 water slides closed all summer. Fun Dunker didn't open until after 11 A.M. Employees not very friendly. But the price was not reduced to make up for the inconvenience caused by having to walk further and wait for slides to open. We've been going to water park for 12 years and this was by far the worse summer ever. We probably won't get passes next year, we'll just go to a pool at friend's house.
