55 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

This motel gets a 10 for me and maybe less for some of you. It depends on what you're looking for. This is an out-of-the-way slice of Nirvana that might not be what everyone is looking for. The front porch and wood railings are superb, the rooms are lovingly designed and maintained, the scenery is all you could ask, and the two dogs are straight from Central Casting. I expected to see Dennis Hopper sitting in the chair next to me as the sun went down and the golden light bounced off the cliffs. (The restaurant is good, too.)

It's simply a great place if you want to relax. No stress allowed.

No TV in most rooms, though, so it's not for those looking for a typical resort.

What a Great Spot. I thought "HOSS" from Bonanza was gona come through the door of this Treasure in the Canyon. It is amazing the Calmness that shoots through your Spirit while forgetting about any hassles of the real world. I stayed 2 nights but will return for a week or two real soon. Great food Too!!

If your looking for a 5 star resort than this is not it. But there are none in that area so keep dreaming. Cliff Dwellers lodge has everything that you could hope for in that neck of the woods. Clean rooms, more towels that most of the 5 star hotels I have been at and better all round service than I have had in any of them. The owner and employees have one goal, to make your stay the best that they can. The food is beyond belief, I ate there every chance I could just to try something new. Some rooms have swamp coolers and some have AC but both work well even in high heat of the Arizona desert. Great place great people, not often you find that these days.

Small rooms in a small hotel, at the base of the Vermilion Cliffs. Hotel is on a lightly trafficked highway, but a beautiful spot. Rooms are nothing fancy, a good value for the money. The place and the people have more character than the chain hotels you will find in Page. Food is very good, too.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Lees Ferry Lodge.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
