It was not very clean and the employees were very disrespectful.

It was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I liked the great hamburger place in the lobby.

The hotel location was excellent. The clean up of the room when we left the room was sporadic. On one occasion during our stay we returned to the room late in the evening and it had not been made up yet. I had to call room service.

The room was modern, clean and attractive. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooftop pool and sundeck were clean and well maintained and they had a spectacular view, but the pool water quality was slightly unpleasant, over chlorinated and a bit salty. Overall, it is a highly recommended hotel.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: I liked the very comfortable bed and the Aero chair for the desk.

I enjoyed my stay at Le Parker Meridien hotel for the most part. Our cable was not working when we initially checked in, but when we returned from dinner it was fine. Our room was very nice and comfortable.

I loved the workout facility but I was disappointed that it was no longer complimentary. I loved the ultra modern decor. The bar was much too expensive to enjoy.

This hotel made me feel elegant: It is upscale and you are treated this way as a guest.

Cold lobby and staff. One restaurant, high prices. Don't expect everything to work in the plain and cold room. drapes don't close properly, plumbing is faulty, sporadic internet connections and more.

Don't expect to have your complaints taken care of. The general manager won't take your call, instead he'll send an employee who has no authority to handle your complaint.

Finally, for heaven's sake do not prepay if staying for more than one night.

Styling Hip luxury hotel and more!. I would definitely return to this hotel. The location within blocks of Central Park and close to shopping was ideal. The service was impeccable--helpful staff everywhere. The room was spacious by NYC standards (meaning that there was actually room to walk!). The rooftop pool was a major asset since my stay was during the hottest, stickiest time of the year (July) and I had my 6 and 8 year-old daughters with me. The one problem we had was with out air conditioner which didn't get cold enough to really cool down the room. The good news is that when we notified the hotel of the problem they immediately changed our room to another with a working AC system. In addition to changing our room, at checkout the hotel knocked about $100 off the final bill and gave me an IOU for an upgrade for my next stay there. Overall I would highly recommend the hotel!

They had the most comfortable beds ever. The staff was very helpful and the room was beautiful. The location was great. I was disappointed with the ten-dollar charge for the use of the health club.

This hotel made me feel welcome: When we wanted to go somewhere they would get us directions, make our reservations, anything we needed. The staff went above and beyond the necessary. The little burger shop was fantastic and the restaurant was great.

Went to NY with small kids in Dec 06. The staff was excellent and helpful. The room was clean and modern. Nice fixtures, great bathroom. The pool on the roof was great for kids, and great view. The breakfast at the restaurant was 5 star with great service. Ate at the burger bar 2 nights, great burgers although very crowded. It is around the corner from the carnegie deli and between both major subway lines. I will always try to stay there in NY. I travel a lot and this was above most hotels and very nice for NY without breaking the bank.

I loved the room and the beds were amazing. I felt that charging for use of the gym facilities was tacky and beneath the Le Meridien name.

It was raining heavily, I did not have an umbrella and I was told by a staff member that my room should have an umbrella in the closet. It did and that saved me! The concierge was very friendly and helpful in recommending a local bar for me to go to.

It was extremely clean and comfortable, very luxurious. I stayed during a mass transit strike and the staff was wonderful assisting us with getting around the town and to the airport. I will definitely check availability for the next New York trip.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The furniture and the bedding were of high grade and in very good condition. All the other room amenities, such as the hygiene products, were of high quality.
