The way this hotel has changed is amazing, I stayed at this establishement last year sometime, and on this visit the hotel changed dramatically. The hallway lights were dimmed down, at first I thought it was to create a mood. Unfortantely it was to disquise the horrible condition of the hallway carpet. when I opened the door to my room and the light showed just how bad it was. The attempt to talk to a housekeeper about the condition of my bed was as bad as talking to someone in a native land. Communication was horrible. I decided to go to the pool area for some relaxation and to forget the mishaps of the begining impressions. When I got back to the room I had no towels, and had to wait 45 minutes for them to finally deliver one to me. I tried to get in touch with the Housekeeping director, but was told she was in a meeting and could not be disturbed. I thought customer satisfaction was a priority! Needless to say My week long stay in South Florida was better stayed at a different brand, as I left the following day after such a disqusting display of hospitality

it was not very clean, there all white blanket we where to sleep with was dirty, there where underwear in the jacuzzi. It took them 11hrs to take away our dirty dishes that were left outside our door.
there are A LOT of hidden charges like $25 a day for parking even if you do not touch your car the whole time you are there. The valet is really rough with the cars.

The room was wonderful. I had plenty of room for the children to play. We loved the balcony watching the planes and the people on the beach. It was wonderful.
Traveling with two small children was quite a task. The staff was extremely helpful with our request for cribs, highchairs and room service. I felt as though there was no request too small to ensure a wonderful trip.
I am very likely
to return to the Le Meridien Sunny Isles Beach.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I disliked the dirty tub drain, there was no ice and they had poor service. The hotel had snotty employees. It also had inconvenient parking and there was no info provided about the hotel amenities.
I am not likely
to return to the Le Meridien Sunny Isles Beach.
I would not recommend it to friends.

They have warm and receptive employees at the front desk, concierge, and maid service. It is complimented by a beautiful ocean view. The hotel restaurant was just as inviting and served some of the finest food. Overall, it was a spectacular stay!
The hotel made us feel at ease by constantly asking our party if everything was to our satisfaction as well as making sure that all of our needs and wants were properly addressed.

I was here for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable and clear décor, attentive staff, and excellent restaurant. It is upscale and a little funky, with a definite European feel.
This is not a hotel with a club room and free continental breakfasts, but with a suite you could cook your own. The 'Classic' rooms are quite cozy (read small) but efficiently laid out (these do not have a kitchen). Normal prices are a bit high, but deals abound for those who care to look. This style of hotel is more geared for adults - not that you couldn't do it with kids as a previous reviewer mentioned.
I also enjoyed the restaurant, part of the Italian Bice chain, which had excellent high end food in an upscale by relaxed atmosphere.

I thought the hotel was in a beautiful location. I was disappointed with my room. One TV remote did not work because it did not have batteries, my smoke detectors batteries were low and I had to call twice to get them replaced and the bathroom toilet was not working or clean when I arrived. Someone came to fix it but did not clean it.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Le Meridien Sunny Isles Beach.
I might recommend it to friends.
