Found a great offer on the Las Vegas Hilton web site rooms 60.00 per night. Made reservations for 3 nights at 180.00 Total (King non Smoking). Great deal till I arrived to check in. Im sorry we dont have any King Non smoking. Hnmm Right out of a Sienfield episode I said but I have a reservation. Desk clerk responds NO you have a preference. So it starts! Bait and switch. I can upgrade you to another class room at 75.00 Just 15.00 dollars more I ask?. Clerk says Yes. Checking My bill through the TV guest services I find Im being charged a 60.00 per day room charge and 75.00 upgrade charge per day for a non smoking room that wasnt available with my 60.00 per day room reservation. I signed an upgrade, agreement but no where did it say a 75.00 per day charge For a room I had reservations for.
To top it off I gave my wife Barry Manilow tickets at the Hilton for Friday. We Arrived on Wednesday with tickets for Thursday. When we showed up at the door for the 8pm Thursday Manilow show, we were met at the door by an usher and informed the Thursday and Sunday shows have been canceled. (No warning)
To fill the theater Hilton canceled both shows and forced everyone into the Friday and Saturday shows. I was lucky and was able find tickets for the Friday show. The poor people who showed on Sunday where totally out of luck.
This doesnt include dirty bathrooms in the smoke filled casino.
