We've been coming to the Lampliter for many years. It has great amenities like a heated beachfront pool, a huge handcrafted stone hot tub overlooking the ocean, and very clean and comfortable accommodations. But the best feature of the Lampliter are the guests and the owners. Many guests return year after year, and the owners make sure that everyone has a great vacation. They are always on site, they mingle with guests, are very helpful and friendly, and they make sure there are no rowdies or excessive noise that could ruin someone's stay. Guests feel at home, and the spectacular oceanfront location with its wonderful view of one of the best beaches in Wildwood Crest just can't be beat. Best of all, the price is reasonable for such a cozy and tranquil destination. We've stayed at a lot of Wildwood hotels and the Lampliter is by far our favorite. We'll continue to stay there with our family for years to come.

Our family has been coming here for years. We found it after a motel nearby fouled up our reservations and rented our room to another party and we've been coming ever since. The owners are excellent hosts, and are as helpful and friendly as B&B hosts. The motel sits right on the beach and being a family place, the kids can play in the sand while the grownups sit poolside. The motel is clean, and offers outdoor grills for cooking. There's no place like the Jersey shore, and this motel's a keeper.
