Situated in the desert city of La Quinta,the Lake La Quinta Inn is a newly built bed and breakfast hideaway designed in the manner of a European chateau. Owned and operated by G. Giovanni Giammarco, the emphasis is on personal and warm service in hospitable and comfortable surroundings. The inn offers 13 individually designed rooms, each with their own name reflecting their unique character and atmosphere. All are equipped with a king or queen-size bed and have a balcony or patio with breathtaking views of Lake La Quinta and the Coachella Valley. Additionally, some rooms feature in room jacuzzi tubs. Two of the rooms are tucked away in the boathouse and one of them benefits from its own outdoor hot-tub, the other a private Zen Garden. Visitors can relax in the landscaped gardens, or book an in house massage. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room, while hors-d'oeuvres and fine wines are offered in the late afternoon. The surrounding area is well known for its golf, cycling, tennis and polo. Theatres, museums and casinos are just a short drive from the Inn. Palm Springs, with its fine restaurants, shops and museums, is only twenty five minutes away.
