This was a great place to stay the rooms were very spacious and clean it felt just like home. it was like an apartment. I would reccomend this place for all ages and especially for families. Also it is close to all major attractions , great location. Another thing is there is a outlet right next to it very conviennent for shoppers. And the pool was nice too. Overall a great place to stay i would come back!!!

I am very likely to return to the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This place was an ABSOLUTE HORROR SHOW! Anyone that thinks this place is great would be happy at any Motel 6. The staff, when you can locate them are rude; service is non-existent; the only way you can get clean towels is if you wash them yourself; the rooms were FILTHY; the pool area is by far smaller than what I have in my backyard. For a mere $40 (a day) you can get maid service which includes your bed being made, clean towels and toiletries. You better be ready to head to the store if you run out of toilet paper, because you're not getting it here! Save your money, and go somewhere else! I've stayed all over the Orlando area, and this is BY FAR the worst that I have ever been to! So much so, that I really needed to write a review of this place (which I never felt the need to do)! STAY AWAY!

29 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

Here Goes. I went down to play a weekend of golf with my friend and his father and brother in law. While checking in, the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa Representative told me and my friends dad that he needed my card to check in, though the room was being paid for by my friend's dad. He runs both cards.

Wednesday I discover that the 264.00 that I had left was not only depleted by the groceries I had bought the night before, but also by three hundred and fifty-two dollars, and had caused me to experience 105 in fees, with another two transactions pending.

So I called the Hotel, sure that I would get a representative that majored in Hotel Tourism, Hospitality, whatever. Instead, I got told that the manager would not be in until ten. I asked to be called back.

At 11 I called and got Paul. Paul told me that it was not his policy to require a guest to submit a card, that he would have a word with his employee, refund the money, but would do nothing on the fees. I explained to Paul that but for his mistake, not mine, I would not have incurred the fees. He said he'd have to look into it.

Paul called back and said that noone had checked out and that was the reason they charged my card. ???? As if that was my fault, I left earlier than my friends and their dad.

He said, "look I'll refund half your fees and I will call your bank and get it expedited." I asked to be called back and told what happened.

Paul called me and told me that he had called Merchant Services and spoken with Melanie. He said that Melanie had agreed to expedite it, to put a note on my account and she would take care of the fees on the two pending transactions.

Tonight, I called my bank. No expedited refund on my end, and no note on the account. My bank does a three way call for me to call the Hotel on their mistake, and so we call back tonight and ask to speak to the manager. John, I think.

John refused to refund the fees I incurred, I and the Wachovia representative urged John to do so. Like a trained puppy, John argued, then told us we would have to speak with Paul, then told us that he called Paul and that Paul had never said that and that we'd have to speak with him. I asked for his manager. He said he was the manager on duty. I said who hired you, I want to speak to that guy. Bottom line, kid will not budge on these fees, refuses to talk to us, refuses to do anything to help.

This hotel was decent, at best, nothing at all like what they say on their website nor their voice-over that you are left agonizing to while on hold. Decent views of construction, a decent pool, the beds were rock solid and the smallest I have ever seen, there are much better hotels in much better locations for access to the magic kingdom, disney, orlando, and the rest of the universe than this place, and the staff is downright terrible. If I get my full refund and an apology of any kind for the way I have been treated, I'll let you know.

I'm not sure what these other reviews were expecting, but for the money you get a huge room right in the heart of Disney World, its not the Four Seasons, you get what you pay for.

Hotel manager was rude during check-in. My party had to wait 30 minutes while he finished a phone call. Room was shoddy compared to the rate that we paid. Please do not be late checking out, or you WILL be charged an extra day. Have been to better resorts in Orlando for the money, and will never stay here again.
