The Marriott Laguna Cliffs is a very nice resort. Though not as spectacular as some other nearby high-end hotels, it is still a very nice hotel with a great pool and nice common areas. Its a pretty good value versus its much more expensive neighbors.

On a recent business trip, the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Nigel couldnt honor my reservation. It was midnight, but they got me a room at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott. I only stayed at the hotel for seven hours, but I had the time to enjoy a comfortable room and a good workout in their gym. Given how busy this area is in November, I thought that I got a pretty good deal. Im not sure I would come here on vacation, but Id stay here again if I had business in the area.
