Lafayette Motel Motel - Page 1

There are no words to describe the place. Lafayette Motel is the best place I have ever stayed at in Fort lauderdale. The Location is beautiful, the beach is just across the street and its a great place. The rooms are very tidy, one of the cleanest I have seen, they are just the same as the pictures on the website. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

I came here from Europe on the recommendation of a friend, his family is a regular summer visitor. I would definately recommend it to my relatives and friends. Excellent!!

I can truly say this was the worst motel I have ever been. I am not a picky person in fact I can sleep where ever, but this place was way under my limit. I came to Fort Lauderdale to spend a weekend with my sister, tried to find a place that was close to the beach but still affordable. Where those needs were fulfilled. But if you have ever seen disgusting place, that this was. Dirty carpet, cracks, and old furniture, the tv wasn't working and the fridge was so warm that the ants and roached were happily enjoy the coolness in there. The pool was small and dirty, loud people around it all day, hard to enjoy or sleep at all. The beach was in fact close, but there was nothing else, approachable. We actually had to take a bus which comes once in every hour and go to Beach Place which was fun and nice, not like this neighborhood and hostel. Don't go here, it's cheap, but rather pay 20 dollar more for something you can rest in.

The staff was great and the hotel was as expected. The staff was very friendly the whole time and I plan on staying there again sometime soon!
