Lafayette Hotel and Suites San Diego

We had a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

This hotel made me feel important: They treated us as if we were special. They made sure we were very comfortable.

We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom townhouses. while it wasn't as clean or as "new" as I would have liked, it had great character, so it was easy to overlook these little things. This was also a great affordable option, as our son and daughter each had their own room. We loved the history of the place, which was full of pictures of movie stars (from many years ago) staying at the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was excellant and the pool, hot tub and surrounding area lovely. The location was great- very central and easy to get anywhere in San Diego. We were close enough to Balboa Park to take walks over there daily, and the neighborhood was charming!

The InnSuites was a very nice place to stay. The location was convenient to the beaches and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only problem was the continental breakfast. There was not much to choose from.

Some of the staff did an outstanding job of making sure that our requests were met. I spent time to fill out the comment card to acknowledge their outstanding performance.
