This elegant Queen Anne Victorian B&B is located in the heart of the village of Skaneateles; across the street from the lake; and one block from the quaint shops and restaurants. Built in 1894, each room is filled with antiques, hardwood floors and oriental rugs. Each guestroom features luxuriously thick mattresses the finest linens, as well as oversized and overly thick towels and robes. All baths are "En Suite" and vary between an old footed soaking tub and a modern shower. Guests love to watch the sunrise over Skaneateles lake; walk the village sidewalks past mansions of a bygone era; sail, play golf or watch a band concert in the park across the street while sitting on the wicker filled porch. Or curl up by the fire with a book from our extensive library. Enjoy a gourmet breakfast of baked German pancakes, "egg blossoms" or Belgium waffles prepared by your hostess and owner, Sandy Rademacher. Sandy's attention to detail is apparent in everything from the fresh flowers in each guestroom to the lace toilet paper holders from Portugal that are in each bath.
