Excellent
My family stayed at the La Siesta and had the time of our lives. The room was absouletly beautiful and we saw nothing but water from our terrace. We had a one bedroom suite overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Everyone from Penny and Kathy at the...
47 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We rented the big 5/3 house on the property for July 4th Weekend (2008). There were five couples and we could not have been more thrilled - the house was spacious, clean and newly renovated - it is on the ocean with a private beach and everything you could want including a gas grill and Hammocks. The staff was very exceptional - they treated us very well. Could use a few more amenities in the kitchen and the hydro tub was not working and the ceiling fan squeeked in one room but all in all it was FABULOUS. We hit a couple glitches in communication with the resort in the beginning but we were glad that we got them sorted out and got to stay in this property. I understand there is going to be a substantial increase in the price now that it is renovated - but we still might consider returning!
44 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We went down for a relaxing three day Momorial Day weekend, when we checked in they lost our reseravtion after just calling the night before to confirm. The boat ramp was under repair, The new docks looked good from afar but then noticed they were five feet too high which is useless unless you have 40 footer. I have been there many times in the past but now I cant go back because of the $2.5 million dock nightmare. The Manager Steve could only apploigze he even thought the docks were insane. This place will end up like the Islander resort, nice place on the ocean but no way to dock a boat.
20 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This place was a nightmare, it was probably nice 15 or 20 years ago, but after that they stopped taking care of it. On our last night we saw a mouse and could barely sit on the couch because it was sticky and gross. This is a brief description, but look around for other more in depth reviews.
We had the best family vacation we have ever had at La Siesta! We met so many other wonderful families, and made new friends! Steve is the guy to talk to! He knew just what room we needed to meet our needs! He does a great job making sure everyone ...
